The Ted Ray Scout Hall is located on Springbank Road, a 5 minute walk from Hither Green station.  It is managed by the volunteers of the 4th Lewisham (1st Hither Green) Scout Group.

 

We have been serving the community of Hither Green since 1919.  Originally we met in an old army barracks behind the Wesleyan church, which is now occupied by the Littlebourne Flats. 

 

In 1955 the Ted Ray Scout Hall was opened by the famous “Gang Show” and Broadway Theatre producer, Ralph Reader.

The hall is used by our Scout Group and is available for regular weekly hire.
